Tonight with the Impressionists, Paris 1874

Paris, April 15, 1874, eight o’clock in the evening, in the former studio of the famous photographer Nadar, on Boulevard des Capucines. Around thirty painters have come together to present personally to the public a selection of about 165 works. Thanks to virtual reality, immerse yourself in the Paris of the time and meet Monet, Renoir, Degas, Morisot, Cézanne and Pissarro, attend the inauguration of the first Impressionist exhibition and discover, in an unprecedented way, the works and territories that marked the beginnings of this artistic movement.

This experiment is based on in-depth research that has enabled us to gather the necessary sources to recreate, as faithfully as possible, both Nadar’s studio and the exhibition that took place there. Under the scientific direction of the Musée d’Orsay, this experience invites you to take part in this major event in the history of art.

An EXCURIO – GEDEON Experiences – Musée d’Orsay coproduction, based on an original idea and original historical reconstructions by GEDEON Experiences.
