Kazakhstan, Treasures of the Great Steppe

To welcome, with panache and respect, five exceptional treasures from the Kazakh collections within the Guimet Museum’s itinerary, we have imagined an unexpected, lively and poetic scenography.

Like a cell and the interconnectivity of its components, film membrane, binding sound, cores of resplendent works quiver and resonate.

Successively, each of the treasures, personifying five milestones in the history of Kazakhstan, will come to life and immerse us in its intimacy: its thoughts, its artistic universe, the landscapes of its origins.

The exploration of this contemporary ecosystem gradually draws its guests into an infinite spiral, a contemplative and emotional abyss, a gentle hypnotic roundness.
